This is a metal art card featuring a couple of Victorian Dandies … a pair of dudes decked out in their finest turn-of-the-century duds. It is an old black and white image that has been glued to a tin metal card base. The tin metal card has been treated with gesso and a couple of patinas to give it a unique texture. The three-dimensional found object collage also has an old pocket watch face and a vintage rhinestone buckle attached, wired to the base card. The backside of the metal card has been decorated using alcohol ink.
The card is about 3-inches by 6-1/8 inches. It comes with a wooden mini-easel that has been painted black. All this is one-of-a-kind (except the wooden easel), made in America by hand. Great looking art piece that can also be included into other arts and crafts projects … attach it to the front cover of a book … frame it either alone or as part of a collection … integrate it into a larger collage or found object art work.
